We take alot if things 4 granted. We see something we don’t like & complain, some can’t see.
We say bad things to and about others; some can’t speak.
We spread lies/ rumors that are life changing.
People can lose alot because of lies; relationships, jobs, money, be imprisoned or worse yet, lose their lives; all because of lies.
Words are very powerful, use them wisely!
We complain about having to walk somewhere; some don’t have the luxury of having legs or the use of their legs.
We take things, hit, slap & punch others with our hands but some don’t have the use of theirs.
The bottomline is where there’s bad, there’s always worse.
We are quick to say ” fml” or my life sucks; think of the people who have had their lives snatched from them, they no long have options…
Life is too short to be living with regrets, make best choices possible. Mistakes happen but how you deal with it is what matters.
Make amends while you still can.
Don’t put off for tomorrow what can be done today!
Tomorrow may never come…
Appreciate what you’ve got, it could always be worse.
Don’t take your life or the people on it for granted, it could all be gone in the blink of an eye!
Make it right!!!

I’M SURE THAT THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE DECISION TO CHARGE GEORGE ZIMMERMAN WITH SECOND DEGREE MURDER IN THE FEB 26TH 2012 SHOOTING DEATH OF 17 YEAR OLD TRAYVON MARTIN IN SANFORD FLA, HAS BROUGHT THE FAMILY , FRIENDS & SUPPORTERS SOME SENSE OF RELIEF.
THE JOURNEY FOR JUSTICE HAS JUST BEGUN…
A CHARGE IS BASICALLY AN ALLEGATION. REMEMBER ITS ALLEGED THAT YOU’RE INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY, THOUGH SADLY IN OUR (MINORITY) SOCIETY, WE OFTEN KNOW IT TO BE OTHERWISE, BUT IT WOULD WORK WONDERS IN THIS CASE IF THAT WERE TO BE ZIMMERMAN’S REALITY. (MY BLOG, MY OPINION!)
ALTHOUGH ZIMMERMAN WAS CHARGED, HE COULD STILL BE ACQUITTED AT TRIAL, POSSIBLY PLEA TO A LESSER OFFENSE OR BE CONVICTED! (HOPE IS ALIVE!)
INITIALLY IT WAS STATED THAT THERE WASN’T ENOUGH EVIDENCE TO PROSECUTE ( COUGH,BS!!!).
LET’S SEE HOW THIS WILL PLAY OUT. WE’RE A LONG WAY FROM A CONVICTION..
THIS ISN’T ABOUT RACE FOR ME. ITS ABOUT JUSTICE. I DON’T WANT HIM CONVICTED JUST BECAUSE HE’S A RACIST PIG WHO KILLED A YOUNG BLACK MAN.
I WANT HIM CONVICTED BECAUSE HE’S A RACIST PIG
(MY OPINION) WHO MALICIOUSLY KILLED AN INNOCENT, UNARMED (EXCEPT FOR A BAG OF SKITTLES & AN ARIZONA ICED TEA & OF COURSE A MENACING HOODIE), YOUNG BLACK MAN, WHOM HE WAS ADVISED BY AUTHORITIES TO NOT FOLLOW.
HAD ZIMMERMAN NOT ENGAGED TRAYVON THIS TRAVESTY MORE THAN LIKELY WOULD HAVE BEEN AVERTED.
THE FACT THAT THE ENTIRE WORLD IS WATCHING CLOSELY IN MY OPINION IS WHY THE SECOND DEGREE MURDER CHARGES WERE EVENTUALLY HANDED DOWN.
UNSURE AS TO THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MURDER AND MANSLAUGHTER?

“The murder charge indicates prosecutors plan to prove Zimmerman shot Martin with malice, though without premeditation. A manslaughter charge would have required prosecutors to prove only that Zimmerman acted unlawfully and with criminal negligence in shooting the teen.
“The difference between murder and manslaughter is your mental state,” said Mark Geragos, a Los Angeles defense attorney, who is not connected to the case. “To elevate it to murder, you have to have the element of malice.”

Anytime you find yourself in the company of someone who is consistently challenging your growth as well as your evolution into becoming a better person, they are toxic and you should rid yourself of them.
Just because you are aware of certain situations and or were raised around them doesn’t make you one of them. Speaking from a place of blatant disregard may be okay with some but I personally take offense to it.
Some may shuck & jive to your song but I for one am not impressed in the least.
Your disrespect of others is faster than most blink and people laugh, because they are too weak to check you on it.
I don’t give passes to anyone. It’s irrelevant where you are from or who you are friends with.
Going to & knowing people from the hood doesn’t qualify you as being hood.
You are nothing but an opportunist.
Your prey on what you perceive to be another’s weakness.
You take recklessness to unimaginable heights.
Your mouth will surely write a check that your ass can’t cash.
Watching your rubbery ass bounce will illicit smiles for miles.
Disrespect by any other name is disrespect.

At times when nothing seems to be going right, we often lose sight of the bigger picture.
To help yourself when you stumble, you need to see that every step you take, is 1 step closer to attaining a goal.
Keep in mind that the greatest of journeys started with that 1 small step.
Though at the time you just desire to get to a certain point, then think of another further along.
As a child you learned to count to 10, though you knew that there were numbers above 10, your goal was to get to 10.
At some point, numbers beyond 10 became fathomable. So too is the journey of life.
Get to 10. Then 20, until you attain the reward you seek.
Never become complacent.
Each step you take is a Milestone. Don’t ever measure your progress by what you haven’t done!
Be vigilant in your quest for knowledge & success!
Drink from the vat of prosperity by being relentless in your pursuit of it!
It’s not about how many times you’ve fallen. Its about the fact that you’ve gotten up every time!
You may be down, but you’ll never be out!

I’m writing you this letter to tell you that I’m leaving you forever. I’ve been a good man to you for 7 years & I have nothing to show for it. These last 2 weeks have been hell. … Your boss called to tell me that you quit your job today & that was the last straw. Last week, you came home & didn’t even notice I had a new haircut, had cooked your favorite meal & even wore a brand new pair of silk boxers.
You ate in 2 minutes, & went straight to sleep after watching all of your soaps. You don’t tell me you love me anymore; you don’t want sex or anything that connects us as husband & wife. Either you’re cheating on me or you don’t love me anymore; whatever the case, I’m gone.

Nothing has made my day more than receiving your letter. It’s true you & I have been married for 7 years, although a good man is a far cry from what you’ve been. I watch my soaps so much because they drown out your constant whining & griping Too bad that doesn’t work.
I noticed when you got a hair cut last week, but the 1st thing that came to mind was ‘You look just like a girl!’ Since my mother raised me not to say anything if you can’t say something nice, I didn’t comment. And when you cooked my favorite meal, you must have gotten me confused with MY SISTER, because I stopped eating pork 7 years ago. About those new silk boxers: I turned away from you because the $49.99 price tag was still on them, & I prayed it was a coincidence that my sister had just borrowed $50 from me that morning.
After all of this, I still loved you & felt we could work it out. So when I hit the lotto for 10 million dollars, I quit my job & bought us 2 tickets to Jamaica. But when I got home you were gone.. Everything happens for a reason, I guess.
I hope you have the fulfilling life you always wanted. My lawyer said that the letter you wrote ensures you won’t get a dime from me. So take care.

Yesterday the entire country was abuzz with the impending execution of convicted cop killer Troy Davis.
The entire internet was on fire with Twitter & Facebook being the forerunners in the fight to save Troy Davis.
Hashtags of #TooMuchDoubt #SaveTroyDavis #Pray4TroyDavis could be viewed in just about every post on Twitter & Facebook alike.
Numerous emails were sent to Judge Penny Freesemann at pfreesemann@chathamcounty.org to aid in the fight to stop the impending execution.
Davis has always maintained his innocence and in a last ditch effort offered to submit to a polygraph test; which was denied.
Davis’ application for Clemency was denied.
The NAACP has been very vocal in their support of Troy Davis’ innocence.
Despite the relentless arguments by Davis’ legal team & Supporters Worldwide the decision to execute him was halted for a few hours, only for the decision to proceed with his execution by lethal injection to be upheld.
Troy Anthony Ðavis was executed at 11:08pm on 9/21/11 for the 1989 Murder conviction of a White off duty police officer in Savannah GA.
It saddens me that the Justices allowed an innocent man to be executed. Why couldn’t they have granted him the Polygraph test that he was willing to submit to?
Would that Not have proved his innocence?
Witnesses recanting their testimonies, someone else having confessed to the crime, was that not enough to have granted him a retrial?
I hope that the burden of knowing that they could have prevented an innocent’s death, haunts them forever.
