Dear Boundaries,
For years I expected everyone to respect my boundaries.
Boundaries that they knew nothing of.
I expected them to be known, you know like common decency.
What I failed to realize was that, I never established a boundary, so it was an unreasonable expectation that they would be respected.

Often we take for granted that everyone is just as we are; that the have the wherewithal to not do anything that could be perceived as disrespectful or uncouth.
What you allow; will continue.
Unless you effectively communicate your boundaries, you cannot reasonably expect them to be respected.
Accountability on your part for(/not )establishing a boundary lays with you.
May you find the strength necessary to speak your truth, rather than suffer in silence.
It all starts with you✨
